Ahmed Gabyow
Sheekh Ahmed Gabyow was a famous Somali poet from the Abgaal Hawiye clan who lived in the coastal area north of Mogadishu in the first decades of the Italian occupation. He was well-known for the masafo, a genre of Somali poetry that is usually composed by religious men.[1]
